Produces a good smoke and can be used as a pressure tester on the evap(once hooked up and smoking-just leave it be and if you have a loss you’ll see it, or after a few min pull the hose out and you’ll see the back pressure

This thing pumps out a LOT of smoke.

Worked like a charm and I saw my vacuum leak in less than a minute (which couldn't have been further from where I was putting the smoke in). Highly recommend. It has a giant cone adapter that works well in the oil fill inlet (though I didn't realize this until after I'd already adapted a fitting where I'd pulled out a cam sensor. It pumps so much smoke you need to make a tight seal where you're putting smoke in. I've only used it once but could not have been happier with this tool.

Good way to not break the bank on finding vacuum leaks

Needed this for my daily driver (2001 bmw 330ci) and my project (1986 Foxbody mustang 5.0) and it did the exact job i needed. Just needed to buy baby oil and put it in and powered it by my battery and I found my leaks. Build quality is pretty good as well. Thought it would be some type of plasic but its make mostly out of metal.

Oh yeah instant smoke

It worked great for finding a leak in my exhaust manifold. I use the sensor hole for my point of entry. I just removed the sensor and used the adapter that came with it and it fit perfectly. I did this with the engine off. I plugged up the tailpipe with a small towel. Within a couple of minutes, I spotted the smoke coming from the exhaust manifold cylinder. Also a very tiny exhaust leak near the tailpipe. Plenty of smoke to run through my entire 2004 Sprinter exhaust system.

If you're shopping around for a smoke machine this is the one to get

I've been looking at these for years now and just never could justify the tool truck prices or even harbor freight, I thought I was taking a gamble on this but It paid for it self on the first car. Simple set up, add oil, connect to the vehicles battery and put the plug in the intake and start tracking down leaks. Couldn't be happier.
